Sighted: Chloe boots more than 75% off

As mentioned earlier, bloomingdale's is having a private sale that started today.  I decided to drop by and check out the goods at the San Francisco store.  I could hardly believe my eyes when I spotted one lone pair of camel Chloe wedge mid-shaft boots for 75% off.   Since the regular price was $975, the sale reduces the price to $243.75.  BUT if you have the private sale coupons, you can use two of the $25 off a hundred and reduce the price to $193.75 plus tax!  Lastly, just to make things even better you will receive a $15 gift card for every $100 you spend.  

They only have one pair and they are a size 41.  You are going to have to fight it out, ladies.

Spotted: Private Sale at Bloomingdales

Having access to a great bloomingdales in San Francisco Center, I have found that their 3 day private sales are some of my favorite for the department store.  Not only do they have most of the store with an additional percentage off, if you are on their mailing list you get coupons to take an additional $25 off almost any purchase of $100 or more.  The kicker is that you also earn $15 bonus gift cards for every $100 you spend that are valid in-store and online from April 3 - 19.  I cannot tell you how much lip gloss I have gotten with the bonus gift cards!

Heard: Mike & Chris Sale in Los Angeles

Finally something for my fellow West Coasters!  The much loved Mike & Chris brand has new backers and the previous owner is liquidating the rest of their merchandise.  Rumor is that they may have other brands as well, but I would still put Mike & Chris at the top.  It's up to 90%  off.  I'm praying they have something like this leather jacket I saw on www.revolveclothing.com.

Online: Costume National Sale at Gilt Today

Heard: Free Topshop

Rumor mill is that Topshop has a truck on the corner of St. Mark's Place near 3rd Avenue that says, "Everyone Loves Topshop."  The kicker is that there is a woman handing out gift cards up to $500 for the grand opening of the Topshop store on April 2nd.  Not sure how long this can last, so you better get moving.  

I'm starting to get jealous of my East Coast girls.  In one day, you can shop the Hermes sample sale, get a free gift card to Topshop and buy roasted peanuts off the street.  And next week, you might get a glimpse of the spectacular Ms. Kate Moss as she is said to be attending the Topshop opening.

Online: Handbag Clearance at Bag, Borrow or Steal

The Bag, Borrow or Steal website (yes, the one where you can rent a designer bag) is holding an online clearance on many gently worn and new bags.  I took a spin and found bags from Fendi, Devi Kroell, Gusto, Mulberry, Prada and Carlos Falchi to name a few.  I found myself clicking on this patent Devi Kroell Knack bag (pictured) marked $295.  That's 70% off retail!

Surprisingly, they also have some beautiful jewelry on sale as well.

Sighted: More Shoes at Nordstrom Rack in SF

After finding the YSL shoes last week at my local Nordstrom Rack, I decided to go back to spend a bit more time searching the racks.  And it was worth it!!!  I personally wanted the white Pierre Hardy sandals with nude straps, but they tend to run really small and the 38.5 was too short.  They are priced to move at about $168!  And still completely on trend for spring.

But that wasn't all I found.  Deep purple suede peep toe pumps by Pierre Hardy in a size 39.5 also for $168.  Lastly, luggage colored Dolce and Gabbana oxford lace ups in a size 6 for about $130.

Heard: Hermes Sample Sale NYC

Another one for the New York City girls, the twice yearly Hermes sale.  I've never personally been, but heard that the lines are LONG.  Gather up your girlfriends to keep you company in line and divide and conquer once you are in the venue.  Report back immediately!  We can't wait to hear what you find.

Sighted: Select Alexander Wang 60% off

With only one tiny rack of sale, select pieces of Alexander Wang's resort '09 collection hung 60% off at Nordstrom.  I happened to be shopping in San Francisco Center, but check your local Nordstrom's or call their customer service line.  While I managed to pick up the bubble print top for myself, I was longing for a reason to own the grey tux dress (pictured) they also had in stock at 60% off.  Nordstrom SF Center has one dress left in a size 4.

Overheard from some lovely ladies in New York, the upper west side location of Plaza Too is all sale merchandise.  The kicker is that they have Loeffler Randall, D&G, and Chloe for under $100.  If you are in NY, run!

Spotted these lovely Yves Saint Laurent purple patent platform sandals at Nordstrom Rack San Francisco.  They have been marked down to $195!  If you are a size 40 (US 10), these babies are gorgeous and finally under $200.

With a love of fashion and a pocketbook with a conscience, we have set out to help our fellow shoppers find the frocks they desire at a price they can stomach.  As friends who have decidedly different personal styles, we often found great deals on fabulous frocks that are better suited for our alter-ego.  That's when we would pick up the phone and call/email/text the other with a deal and it's location.  Knowing that we are not on the only ones who do this and understanding that sometimes we found things in sizes we didn't need, we open this forum with the hopes that as girls about town we can help one another.  

We know it's hard when you fall in love with $700 Louboutin sandals.  It's even harder to find them for $150.  But it happens.  And by building this community, we hope to make it even easier to match deals with those who dream of them.
